CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – On the final day of the Head of the Charles on Sunday, the Dartmouth heavyweight rowing team finished fifth in the Championship 4+, and 18th in the Championship 8+.
The Big Green Championship 4+ finished fifth (17:47.6) out of 19 boats. Coxed by
Avery Salumbides and stroked by
George Atkins, Dartmouth crossed the Riverside Boat Club in third place (4:03.9), dropped back to fifth place as the US Rowing boat and Camp Randall boat charged ahead at the Weld Boathouse (10:00.9) and stayed in fifth for the remainder of the race.

Evan Dwinell, the Championship 8+ team finished 18th out of 32 boats. Dartmouth found themselves in 16th at the Riverside Boat Club (3:32.5), stayed in the same spot at the Weld Boathouse (8:38.3) and fell to 18th at the Cambridge Boat Club (13:18.3) where they would finish.
Dartmouth continues its season on Sunday at the Princeton Chase.
