ALBANY, N.Y. – Senior
Tess Bracken was named the ECAC Hockey Player of the Week on Monday. This is the first time in her career that she has been recognized with a weekly award.
Bracken had four points in three games. She started the week by netting the Big Green's first two goals in the 3-2 win over Vermont on Tuesday, her first multi-tally game of the season. She had another goal in the loss to RIT on Friday and assisted in the second game against the Tigers the following day.
This is the first time this season that a Dartmouth player has received a weekly award from the conference office and the second time in 2018, as
Christine Honor was named Goalie of the Week on Feb. 13. Bracken is also the first Big Green player to be named Player of the Week since Ailish Forfar '16 on Feb. 17, 2015.
The senior currently leads the team in goals (4) and points (6).
The Big Green will be on the road on Nov. 24-25 for a pair of non-conference games at Maine.
