PRINCETON, N.J. –  The Ivy League announced the 2018 All-Ivy League teams on Wednesday and five members of the Dartmouth women's soccer team earned recognition from the conference. Â
Remy Borinsky and
Bonnie Shea were named to the First Team, while
Mariel Gordon,
Erin Kawakami and
Alyssa Neuberger earned an Honorable Mention selection. Â
Â
Borinsky capped off her career with her fourth Ivy League honor and third First Team selection. The senior led the Big Green and set career highs with six goals and six assists, tallying 18 points which placed her tied for fourth in the conference. From Warren, N.J., Borinsky was named the Ivy League player of the week twice this season on Sept. 17 and Oct. 29. She became the first Big Green player to receive the award since 2015 and first sole recipient of the honor since 2014. Borinsky also became the first Dartmouth player to win the player of the week award twice in one season since 1999.
Â
After earning honorable mention last season as a freshman, Shea followed that up with a First Team nod. The sophomore from Atlanta, Ga., proved to be one of the best defenders in the conference helping the Big Green to the third fewest goals allowed in the Ivy League. She also got in on the offensive action this season with one goal against Brown and an assist at Holy Cross.
Â
Gordon proved to be one of the best goalkeepers in the conference and was rewarded with an honorable mention nod by the conference. The sophomore finished in the top-three of every major statistical category. She finished second with 71 total saves and third with seven shutouts, 14 goals against, and an .835 save percentage. Perhaps Gordon's greatest feat this season was when she set a career high with a nine-save shutout of eventual Ivy League champion Princeton on Sept. 29 that earned her Ivy League Player of the Week. From Dallas, Texas, Gordon was the only goalie this season to receive Player of the Week.
Â
In her sophomore season, Kawakami continued to be one of the toughest players to defend in the conference as she picked up her second All-Conference honor, earning an honorable mention selection in 2018. From Palos Verdes Estates, Calif., Kawakami finished the season with three goals and two assists, compiling eight points.

Junior
Alyssa Neuberger was named an All-Conference award winner for the first time in her career. From Germantown, Tenn., the defender was a key component to the strong Dartmouth backline not allowing opposing offensive players to get clean looks on goal. Neuberger used her strong leg to score against Albany on Sept. 16 and picked up an assist at home against Marist on Oct. 15. Neuberger has started in every game for the Big Green this season.
