STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
Dartmouth is on the road for the first time since Dec. 1, but the Big Green do not have to travel far as they face Granite State Rival New Hampshire Friday morning at Lundholm Gymnasium.
BATTLE WITH BUFF
- In a back-and-forth game with eight lead changes and 10 ties, Dartmouth had chances but eventually fell, 75-69 to a tough Buffalo team.
- Cierra Dillard, the leading scorer in the nation, finished with 26 points, five rebounds, five assists and two steals for Buffalo.
- Dartmouth led four times during the game and trailed by only one when Cy Lippold hit a three with 6:23 remaining in regulation.
- Paula Lenart posted her second double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
- Isalys Quinones led the team in scoring with 19 points to go along with seven boards.
- Anna Luce set career highs with 16 points, going 7-7 from the free throw line, and eight rebounds, providing solid minutes off the bench.
- Lippold had another strong performance for the Big Green, the senior finished with nine points, eight assists, five steals and four rebounds.
- Dartmouth's bench outscored Buffalo's, 25-5.
THE HOME STAND
- The Big Green had a successful four game home stand, going 3-1 with wins over BU (64-44), Fairfield (59-46) and UMass Lowell (70-54). The one loss was to Buffalo (75-69), who made it to the Sweet 16 last season.
- Dartmouth had a +10.8-scoring margin during the last four home games, averaging 65.5 ppg, while holding opponents to 54.8 ppg.
- Cy Lippold set career highs with 25 points and seven 3-pointers against UMass Lowell, Anna Luce did the same with 16 points and eight rebounds against Buffalo and Annie McKenna tied her career highs with 14 points and seven assists against UMass Lowell.
- Quinones averaged 15.8 ppg and 6.0 rpg during the home stand, while Cy Lippold tallied 12.8 ppg and 3.7 apg.
- Paula Lenart has continued to do the dirty work in the paint, she averaged 8.8 ppg and 9.8 rpg over the last four games with 14 offensive rebounds.
CONSISTENT STARTING FIVE
- Dartmouth has not changed its starting five all season.
- The Big Green have gone with Lippold, McKenna, Kealy Brown, Quinones and Lenart for all ten games.
ON THE ROAD
- While playing away from Leede Arena, Dartmouth is 1-4 with a win at Vermont (66-42), and losses to Middle Tennessee (70-58), UC Santa Barbara (62-56), Cal State Fullerton (67-62) and San Diego (78-76).
- In those games, the Big Green are only being outscored by -0.2. Opponents are scoring 63.8 ppg, while Dartmouth averages 63.6 ppg.
- Quinones has stayed consistent on the road, she is scoring 15.4 ppg and pulling down 6.8 rpg.
- Luce is also in double figues with 10.5 ppg and is second on the team with 6.0 rpg.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
- UNH enters Friday's game with a 3-8 record but have won two out of its last three contests.
- The three wins for the Wildcats are against Bryant (79-74), the University of New England (68-44) and Holy Cross (74-62).
- One common opponent that UNH has played is BU, where the Wildcats fell, 60-39.
- Ashley Storey leads the team and is third in the America East with 17.5 ppg, she also averages 6.8 rpg, 2.2 spg and 1.3 bpg.
- Kari Brekke, Maggie Ahearn and Caroline Soucy all score over eight ppg.
- The Wildcats are averaging 56.8 ppg and are allowing 65.1 ppg.
LAST TIME AGAINST UNH
- Dartmouth snapped a seven-year losing streak with a 57-49 victory at home against UNH last season.
- The Big Green trailed 27-17 at the half and outscored the Wildcats, 40-22 in the second to come away with the win.
- Quinones led the way with 16 points and seven rebounds, while Lippold and Emily Slagle each added 11 points.
- Paula Lenart finished with six points and seven rebounds for the Big Green.

- The Wildcats hold a 24-17 record against the Big Green dating back to 1973.
- UNH has taken control of the all-time in the last eight years holding a 7-1 record, the teams met twice in 2010.
