Matt Baker was the first to take to the ice, doing so in the desert with the reigning Western Conference Champion Vegas Golden Knights. Baker was one of 24 forwards to skate at City National Arena at camp, earning a free agent invite.

Will Graber spent this past weekend in SoCal at the Anaheim Ducks' camp at the team's practice facility. The Big Green's leading scorer this past season (9-17-26), was one of 34 total players and just one of eight college invites to skate with the Ducks.
Â
Baker made an impression amongst several of the Golden Knights' most recent draft picks as well as players chosen in last year's entry draft. In the team's scrimmage in front of a capacity crowd on Friday, the Dartmouth forward scored a goal in Team Grey's 5-0 win against Team White.
Â
Graber faced off alongside several familiar faces, including All-American and Ducks prospect Troy Terry, who was a member of the Denver Pioneers this season before making the jump to Anaheim after the NCAA Tournament. Graber scored Dartmouth's second goal in a come-from-behind win, while Terry scored the home team's second goal in the first period.
Â
Baker, Graber and the rest of the Big Green kick off the 2018-19 season with a preseason exhibition against the US National Development Team Program on Monday, Oct. 22 before hosting Harvard that Saturday night (Oct. 27) in the regular-season opener.
