HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's hockey head coach
Laura Schuler has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2018-19 season. The Big Green will play one exhibition contest, their usual 22 conference games and seven non-conference ones.
After its annual home exhibition game against McGill (Oct. 14), Dartmouth will go on a five-contest road trip, starting at Harvard (Oct. 19). The Green will then take on Colgate and Cornell (Oct. 26-27) before heading to Princeton and Quinnipiac the following weekend (Nov. 2-3).
Five consecutive non-conference contests will follow. Dartmouth will play its first official game at Thompson Arena on Nov. 6 against Vermont before welcoming RIT to Hanover for a two-game series (Nov. 9-10). This will be the first time since 1995 that the Big Green and the Tigers have met.
After that, Dartmouth will go to Maine for two games after Thanksgiving, return home for Union and RPI before closing the first half of the season against New Hampshire (Dec. 4) and UConn (Dec. 30).
The Big Green will kick off 2019 with five straight home ECAC Hockey games against Quinnipiac, Princeton, Harvard, Cornell and Colgate (Jan. 4-19) and then will be on the road for two against St. Lawrence and Clarkson (Jan. 25-26).
Dartmouth will face Brown and Yale twice in a three-week span, playing the two conference opponents at home to start the month (Feb. 1-2) and on the road to conclude the regular season (Feb. 22-23). After facing the Bears and the Bulldogs for the first time, the Green will head to RPI and Union (Feb. 8-9) and will return home to play at Thompson one last time against Clarkson and St. Lawrence (Feb. 15-16).
