HANOVER, N.H. – Four members of the Dartmouth men's hockey team were named All-American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) announced last week.

A trio of sophomores and a freshman were honored for their work in excelling in the classroom this past season.

Sophomore forwards
Ryan Blankemeier,
Will Graber and
Cam Strong were joined by freshman defenseman
Brendan Less on the list honoring players who atÂtained a 3.6 GPA each semester and participated in 40 percent of their school's games.

Blankemeier is majoring in computer science, while Graber and Strong have both declared in engineering sciences. Less is undeclared, but is planning on pursuing his degree in economics.

These four and the rest of their Big Green teammates will open the season with an exhibition contest free to the public at Thompson Arena on Monday, Oct. 22 against the US National Team Development Program. The 2018-19 regular season gets underway on Saturday, Oct. 27 at home against Harvard in a rematch of last season's ECAC Hockey Quarterfinal series.
