ALBANY, N.Y. – Dartmouth women's hockey senior
Christine Honor was named the ECAC Hockey Goalie of the Week on Monday.
This is the second time in her career that she has received the weekly award, after winning on Feb. 13, 2018 following a pair of ties against Union and RPI.
Honor had an exceptional weekend, playing a huge role in Dartmouth's three points. In the team's first win over defending national champion Clarkson since 2011, she played all 65 minutes, allowing two goals while making 37 saves.
The next day in the tie against St. Lawrence, she made 46 saves while helping give the Green their first shutout of the season. In 127 minutes this weekend, she made 83 saves, allowed just two goals, had 0.94 goals against average and .976 save percentage.
The Big Green will close the season this coming weekend on the road against Yale and Brown.
