THIS WEEKEND
The Dartmouth men's lacrosse team will be on the road for the second in a row, heading to Rhode Island to renew an old series against Bryant.
LAST TIME OUT
Dartmouth opened the season last weekend, falling to Boston University by a score of 15-8.
Ben Martin led the team with six points from two goals and four assists (and was the second highest scorer on the field behind Chris Gray and his nine points), while
George Prince netted one goal and tacked on two assists for three points.
Matt Paul and
Harlan Smart ended the game with two points apiece, and
Trevor Ballantyne had one from a goal.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Bryant enters the weekend with a 1-1 record after falling to Bucknell (9-6) in the season opener and rebounding against Providence (11-8) the following weekend at home.
With two games under their belts, eight players have made it on to the scoresheet. The team is led by Marc O'Rourke with six goals and two assists for eight points.
LAST TIME AGAINST BRYANT
The Big Green and the Bulldogs will be meeting for the third time, but the first in almost nine years. In Dartmouth's penultimate game of the 2010 season on April 27, the Green fell by a score of 7-5 on the road.
BETWEEN THE PIPES
In his first game in a green and white jersey,
Daniel Hincks played all 60 minutes, making 11 saves while being saddled with the loss.
