Dartmouth women's rowing will head to New Jersey for the 2019 Ivy League Women's Rowing Championship, which will be held on the Cooper River on Sunday.

Heats will begin at 8 a.m. and Grand and Petite Finals will start at 2 p.m. All races can be watched on ESPN+.

The Ivy League champion is determined by the fastest boat in the first varsity Grand Final, which will be the last race and will start at 4:30 p.m. The winner earns the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship, giving the team's varsity eight, second varsity and varsity four boats automatic entry as well. The NCAA provides 11 automatic and 11 at-large bids.

At the end of the day, two awards will be given out: one to the Ivy champion and the other to the team with the most points. The league determines the winner of the high point trophy through a points system that weighs each of the day's races.

The Big Green finished in sixth place at the 2018 championship, moving up two places from the year before, and sent all five of their boats to the Grand Finals. At the conclusion of the championship, Sabrina Bohrer '18 was named All-Ivy first team, while Zoe Dinneen '18 was tabbed to the second team.
