PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – The Dartmouth women's rowing team closed out the Ivy League Championship by placing fourth overall. This marks the second year in a row that Dartmouth has placed fourth in the championship, and just the third time the Big Green has placed fourth since the 2013-14 season.
"Very proud of the team for a solid team wide performance making grand finals in all boats and bringing home two medals. There's certainly some disappointment in the NCAA crews feeling like they left some speed on the table this weekend, but there was no shortage of fight and we are very proud of their effort." John Graves, the Elizabeth C. McNabb Head Coach of Women's Rowing, said.
Dartmouth earned a bronze medal in the 2V4 (07:16.424), finishing behind Yale and Princeton, and a silver medal in the 3V4 (7:26.285), finishing behind Princeton. In the 1V4, Dartmouth placed fourth, trailing Brown, Harvard and Yale.
The Big Green finished sixth in the 2V8, while finishing ahead of the Crimson in the 1V8 with a time of 6:21.652.
