HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth's senior netminder
Adrian Clark and sophomore forward
Drew O'Connor will be at NHL Development Camps in Boston and Washington D.C. this week.
Â
Both are free-agent invites to attend one of a litany of camps that litter the early part of the summer.
Â
Clark will be in Washington with the Capitals after earning an invite with an impressive junior season. In his first season as the Big Green's starter, Clark put together one of the best seasons in program history, including a Dartmouth-record six shutouts over the course of 2018-19. Those six shutouts surpassed the previous program record of five set in 1919-20, nearly a century ago.
Â
Clark finished the season with 13 wins, a 2.31 goals against average and a .910 save percentage. His six shutouts ranked fourth in the nation behind three goalies who all reached the NCAA Tournament.
Â
O'Connor had a breakout season in Hanover as he led all Ivy League and ECAC Hockey rookies with 17 goals, a figure that was second in the nation among first-year players. The New Jersey native finished the season with 26 points, 13th in Division I and the 10th-best mark by a Dartmouth freshman in program history.
Â
For his play on the ice, O'Connor was named the ECAC hockey Rookie of the Week a league-high three times in 2018-19 and was tabbed to the All-IVY League Second Team.
Â
Both the Bruins and Capitals will hold their camps beginning Tuesday.
