Big Green start 2020 season ranked 22nd in the nation.

HANOVER, N.H. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) released its 2020 Division I National Preseason Poll Monday afternoon that featured Dartmouth earning a No. 22 ranking.

The Big Green finished last season ranked 20th after winning a share of their 13th Ivy League title and earning a berth to the NCAA Tournament for the 15th time in program history.

Dartmouth is one of three Ivy teams to earn the preseason ranking, joining Princeton (6) and Penn (12).

First-year head coach Alex Frank and her team will have a challenging slate of games ahead in 2020 as four of their 15 opponents are in the top-25 to start the season. In addition to the Tigers and Quakers, Boston College (5th, Mar. 18) and Florida (14th, Mar. 3) are also ranked in the first poll of the season.

The Green and White will start the 2020 campaign on Saturday, Feb. 15 at UMass before the home opener against Boston University on Feb. 22.
