Leading up to the 2020 Dartmouth women's lacrosse home opener on Feb. 22 against Boston University, let's meet the nine members of the Class of 2020.
Â
Today's Senior… Katie Bourque
Â
DartmouthSports.com: What is your favorite place on campus?
Katie Bourque: I love sitting outside on Collis porch on a nice day, overlooking everyone on campus as they go to and from class.
Â
DS: If you could swap places with one teammate, who would it be and why?
KB: Honestly, any of the freshmen. These four years have really gone by too quickly.
Â
DS: What has been your best on-field memory thus far in your Dartmouth career?
KB: One of my favorite games was during spring break, my sophomore year. We played away at Princeton and beat them for the first time since 2012. This was the first big Ivy win of my career and it's a game I'll always remember.Â
Â
DS: How is Hanover different or similar to where you grew up?
KB: Hanover is much smaller than where I grew up. New Hampshire is a lot more rural and spread out than my hometown in New Jersey.
Â
DS: What are your post-Dartmouth plans?
KB: After Dartmouth I plan to live in New York City and work in finance.
Â
DS: What is your hidden talent or something that someone might not know about you?
KB:I love reality TV, especially "The Bachelor."Â
Â
DS: Do you have a nickname on your team? Who gave it to you and why?
KB: Sometimes people call me Bourque!
Â
DS: What are you going to miss most about Dartmouth after you graduate?
KB: After I graduate, I think I'm going to miss the team the most. Playing lacrosse (in the woods) every day with your best friends is something really special.Â
