Dartmouthsports.com will be recognizing the senior student-athletes who had their winter seasons postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today's senior … Quin Foreman from Needham, Massachusetts, of the men's hockey team.
DartmouthSports.com: What is your favorite place on campus?
Quin Foreman: The Cube. It was where we would study and the snack bar was the best on campus… and it was open until 2 a.m., which made late-night study sessions easier.
DS: If you could swap places with one teammate, who would it be and why?
QF: Sam Hesler. Because he gets to be brothers with Carl Hesler (former Dartmouth captain).
DS: What has been your best on-ice memory thus far in your Dartmouth career?
QF: Winning the Ledyard Classic last year because it's after the holidays so most our families are in attendance.
DS: How is Hanover different or similar to where you grew up?
QF: Hanover is in the woods, so it doesn't have many similarities to the Boston area that I grew up in. But with that said, I really like it here. A special place.
DS: What are your post-Dartmouth plans?
QF: I am hoping to play professionally. After that, I plan to work in financial services.
DS: What are you going to miss most about Dartmouth after you graduate?
QF: I am going to miss the atmosphere. It isn't a tangible thing, but everyone seems to feel at home here and happy.
