HANOVER, N.H. – Liz Keady Norton, the new Dartmouth women's hockey head coach, has announced the hiring of
Steph Moberg as an assistant coach.
"We are very excited to have Steph join our staff at Dartmouth," Keady Norton said. "I'm confident she will make a positive impact immediately. Her passion for the game, her work ethic, and her experience in recruiting and player development are what made her the perfect fit here."
Moberg comes to Hanover from North Andover, Massachusetts, where she was an assistant coach at Merrimack for five seasons (2016-21). In 2018-19, she helped guide the Warriors to their first-ever Hockey East Tournament appearance and their first winning season since the team's inaugural campaign in 2015-16 (16-13-7, .542).
Prior to that, Moberg spent two years as the head coach of the Castleton women's hockey program (2014-16), where she was able to lead the Spartans to unprecedented success during her short tenure. Under her tutelage, Castleton had a record of 31-20-4, reaching the conference championship once and making a semifinal appearance in 2015-16.
Moberg graduated from Plattsburgh in 2010, where she won two NCAA titles and was a first-team All-American as a senior. She served as an assistant at both Colby (2013-14) and Connecticut College (2010-12) before making her way to Castleton.
