Dartmouth Lands 25 on 2020-21 ECAC All-Academic Team

Big Green post fifth-best total in 24-team ECAC Hockey.

ALBANY, N.Y. – Members of the Dartmouth men's hockey program earned 25 spots on the 2020-21 ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team, the league office announced Wednesday morning.

Players are eligible for the All-Academic Team if they earn a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale or have a GPA over 3.00 over the past three semesters.

One student-athlete from each institution was honored on the Commissioner's List, showcasing one of the top scholars from each program from the 2020-21 season. Dartmouth's honoree this year was junior Harrison Markell, a government major who has a 3.71 cumulative GPA in his three years in Hanover.

This year's senior class was once again 100 percent represented for the second straight season and for the third time in their four-year Dartmouth careers. The entirety of the junior class was also present on the list, while six sophomores were recognized for their work in the classroom this year. The freshman class was also well represented with all eight members earning academic recognition from the league.

The 25 honorees ranked fifth the 24 men's and women's programs in ECAC Hockey.
