Maggie Emerson were recognized by ECAC Hockey for their efforts on the ice this past weekend. Bowlby was named Driscoll Player of the Week and Emerson was named Rookie of the Week. It is the first ECAC Hockey weekly honor of for both student-athletes.
Bowlby scored the game winning goal for Dartmouth in overtime against New Hampshire, Sunday afternoon. Her goal gave the Big Green a 4-3 victory and secured the team its fourth-straight win. She also had an assist to give her a total of two points in the game which led the team.
Emerson made 29 saves on 32 shots in the 4-3 overtime victory, Sunday against New Hampshire. She made 14 saves in the third period and two saves in overtime to keep the Big Green alive at home. The 29 saves were her highest total since Nov. 13, at Yale when she had 31 saves.
Bowlby now has three goals and six assists this season for a total of nine. She is currently on a five-game points streak that dates back to Dec. 4, against Union. Emerson has started 14 out of 16 games this season for the Big Green and has a 7-7-0 record between the pipes.
The Big Green, along with Bowlby and Emerson, return to ECAC Hockey play this weekend with two games on ESPN+. They hit the road and take on Cornell, Friday night at 6 p.m. and then travel to Colgate for a 3 p.m. matchup with the Raiders.
