Billing Earns Nomination for ECAC Hockey's Mandi Schwartz Award

HANOVER, N.H. — Senior captain Gabby Billing has been named as Dartmouth's nominee for the Mandi Schwartz Student-Athlete of the Year Award.
The award is presented annually to an ECAC Hockey women's player in honor of former Yale student-athlete Mandi Schwartz, who passed away in 2011 but continues to inspire the entire hockey community through the memory of her courageous battle with acute myeloid leukemia.
Nominees must be leaders on their team, in the classroom and in the community. They also need to be a standout performer on the ice.
Billing is tied for the team lead in points this season with 13. She has six goals and seven assists. She has been named ECAC Hockey All-Academic the last three years and is the team's active leader in career points with 15 goals and 22 assists for a total of 37.
