HINCKS COMING UP BIG
The goalkeeper from Newtonville, Massachusetts, has been having a great senior season thus far. His 16 saves in the first game of the season against Merrimack was a personal best and, since then, he has broken that twice. He was named the DartmouthSports.com Male Athlete of the Week for his performance in the game against Vermont.
Â
A few days after that win, he was included in the first round of additions to the Tewaaraton Watch List, a prestigious annual award that honors the top male and female college lacrosse player in the country.

SCOUTING THE RED STORM
St. John's has had a tough start to the 2022 season and enters Saturday's game with a record of 1-5. The Red Storm kicked off the year with rather large losses to No. 9 Rutgers (23-6) and Bucknell, which was and still is receiving votes (23-7). After that, they fell to Stony Brook (17-10, a team Dartmouth will meet for the first time ever in a few weeks) and Hofstra (12-6) before finally picking up a win against Manhattan (9-7). Most recently, St. John's fell to Siena (13-10, a team the Big Green have already defeated).
Â
The Storm have struggled over the last few years. Though they did enjoy a full season in 2021 while Dartmouth only got to play two games, they ended the season with just one win, a 19-18 overtime victory at the very beginning of the year.
Â

Three years ago to the day, on March 19, 2019, the Big Green fell to the Storm, 15-8, in Queens.
Â

Â

Colin McGill with four assists apiece.
