Dartmouth (4-3, 0-1) at Harvard (6-1, 2-0)
After being tied at 1-1 in the first 90 seconds of the opening quarter, five goals were scored in less than three minutes.
Quinn Moore netted the first of his career, while tallies by McGill and Prince put Dartmouth up by three. Harvard got one back, to which
Henry Bonnie responded with his sixth of the year 30 seconds later. Two in a row for the Crimson in the final 5:22 ended the first quarter (5-4).
Â
A third unanswered goal for the home team early in the second tied the score. Prince's second of the game temporarily put the Big Green ahead again, but another Harvard tally less than a minute later kept things tied. Dartmouth got the go-ahead once again, this time thanks to
Matt Paul, but two in a row for Harvard gave it an 8-7 lead going into the intermission.
Â
Returning from the break, Prince tied the score just under six minutes into the second half, while four Crimson goals over a four-minute span put some distance between the teams. McGill completed his hat trick in the final three minutes, but Harvard added another one 40 seconds later to pull ahead by four (13-9).
Â
The fourth quarter belonged to the Crimson, which scored all but one of the seven goals during the final 15 minutes.
Tommy Rogan netted his sixth of the season with 9:35 to go and Harvard scored the last four tallies.
Mason Morel made his way into the game with 6:42 remaining and made two saves before time was up.
Â
Dartmouth will be home for three in a row, starting with Cornell on Saturday, April 2.
