Dartmouth men's lacrosse will be back at Scully-Fahey Field for three straight games. First up: No. 7 Cornell on Saturday afternoon.

LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green dropped its first Ivy League contest of the 2022 to No. 15 Harvard by a score of 19-10 on Saturday afternoon.

George Prince had four points from a hat trick and one helper, while
Colin McGill was right behind with three points.
·    Â
Mitchell Myers had nine ground balls and went 14-29 (.483) at the faceoff X.
·     In net,
Daniel Hincks made 11 saves in the loss.
·     Dartmouth had the edge in the first quarter and after goals by
Quinn Moore, McGill, Prince and
Henry Bonnie, had a 5-2 advantage. Two in a row for the Crimson ended the quarter (5-4).
·     The second was just as close as the first quarter, and two from the home team gave it an 8-7 lead going into the intermission.
·     Five goals for Harvard after coming back from the break made it a 13-9 game. The fourth belonged to the Crimson, which scored all but one of the seven goals during the final 15.
Tommy Rogan netted his sixth goal of the season with 9:35 to go.
Mason Morel made his way into the game with 6:42 remaining and made two saves before time was up (19-10).

MORE RECOGNITION FOR HINCKS
A few weeks after being included in the first round of additions to the Tewaaraton Watch List, Hincks has been named honorable mention on Inside Lacrosse's Midseason Men's Division I All-America list. After starting 2022 on a 4-1 hot streak, he is currently one of the most successful goalies in both the Ivy League and the country.

SCOUTING THE BIG RED
Having been away for almost two years, Cornell opened 2022 on a six-game winning streak that spanned the first month of the season before finally experience its first loss at the hands of Penn (15-11) on March 26. The Big Red got back to their winning ways in the next game, taking down Colgate by a score of 16-9.

Cornell is looking good against its Ancient Eight opponents: third in goals per game (13.75), first in assists per game (8.38), second in points per game (22.12), third in man-up goals (11). The Red are second in the conference, but so are three other teams with their records of 1-1.

LAST TIME AGAINST CORNELL
On March 30, 2019, the Big Green had a strong first quarter before the 10th-ranked Big Red ran away with the lead, winning by a score of 15-5 at Schoellkopf Field.

The team was led by Ben Martin with his hat trick, while
Matt Paul had two points from a goal and one assist and three other players had one point each. Hincks stopped 17 shots, while
Kiernan Gunn handled most of the faceoff duties, going 8-20 at the X.

Prince is still first in assists (8) and points (23) and is tied for team-lead in goals with Paul and their 15 tallies apiece. McGill isn't far behind with 20 points. Myers has picked up 34 ground balls and has taken the majority of the team's faceoffs, going 72-140 (.514) at the X.
