HANOVER, N.H. — Head Coach of Women's Ice Hockey
Liz Keady Norton and her staff have announced the eight incoming members of the class of 2026 set to join the Big Green for the 2022-23 season.
The Big Green's incoming freshman class features three forwards, three defenders and two goalies. The Class of 2026 features student-athletes from six different states.
"I am excited to welcome our incoming freshmen to Hanover this fall," head coach
Liz Keady Norton said. "As a group, they will bring a level of competitiveness, energy and depth that will be critical to our success. Their successes on and off the ice prior to Dartmouth has demonstrated their commitment to excellence and desire to be the best versions of themselves. We are certainly excited to welcome them to the woods!"

Woodbridge, Conn. | Loomis Chaffee
Before Dartmouth: Two-sport athlete in ice hockey and soccer, lettering in both from her freshman to

senior years… Served as captain for her ice hockey and soccer teams at Loomis Chaffee during her senior season… Was a member of Loomis Chaffee's 2021-22 and 2018-19 Founders League Championship teams… Won three Tier I Regional and State Championships with the Connecticut Polar Bears… Earned All-Founders League honors as a sophomore and senior at Loomis Chaffee and first-team all-state honors as a freshman at Amity Regional High School.
Personal: Daughter of Brian and Jennifer Dixon… Has one brother… Enjoys writing and riding her horse, Teddy… Plans to study neuroscience and history and pursue a career in medicine or law.

Championship in 2019… Served as a captain for Shady Side Academy during her senior year and an alternate captain for the Penguins for the 2021-22 season… Won consecutive Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) Lacrosse Championships with Shady Side Academy in 2021 and 2022.
Personal: Daughter of Cody and Kate Powell… Has eight siblings, five sisters and three brothers… Enjoys cooking, baking and working out… Plans to study chemistry and pursue a career in medicine.

three-straight Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) Class A championship teams from 2018-2020 at Breck High School… Played for Minnesota Elite in 2021, which finished as runner-up at the Tier I USA Hockey National Championships… Served as a captain for Breck during her junior season… Lettered in golf as a junior.
Personal: Daughter of Mike and Kari Messner… Has two brothers… Father wrestled for Southern Oregon University… Plans to study economics and pursue a career in business.

Personal: Daughter of Eric and Leta Jensen… Has two brothers and one sister… Father was a swimmer for Minnesota for four seasons… Plans to study environmental studies.

the 2022 USA Hockey Tier I National Championships in the 19U division… Posted five shutouts for SSM during her senior year… Finished the 2021-22 season with a save percentage of .957 and a goals against average of 1.07… Earned High Honor Roll status at Shattuck-St. Mary's in both 2021 and 2022.
Personal: Daughter of Josh and Nancy Burden… Has one brother, Mick, who plays lacrosse at Bates College… Plans to study economics and pursue a career in business.
