OPENING DAY
The Dartmouth women's lacrosse team opens the 2023 season on home turf against the New Hampshire Wildcats. Saturday's game is the first of seven games for the Big Green at Scully-Fahey Field this season.
NEW FACES
The Big Green added eight freshmen into the mix for this season:

Caroline Kendall,
Maya Kendall,
Julia Fortier,
Jordan Healy.
Back in October, Kwun,
Caroline Kendall, and
Maya Kendall were named to the Inside Lacrosse Women's Power 100 Freshman Rankings.
RETURNING ALL-IVY SELECTIONS
Dartmouth brings back the four All-Ivy League honorees from a season ago: senior
Katie Elders, and sophomores
Katina Christensen,
Maja Desmond, and
Gisele Todd.
Elders led the Big Green in scoring with 33 goal and 37 points. She finished the season with seven hat-tricks and tied the program record for points in an Ivy League game with nine in a 22-6 victory over Columbia.
Christensen scored 28 goals in her first collegiate season, finishing second on the team in scoring. Desmond was key for the Big Green in the midfield, leading the team in caused turnovers (17), draw controls (47), and was second in ground balls (36).
Todd appeared in goal in all 15 games for Dartmouth in 2022. She finished with 129 saves, a save percentage of .427, and had a team-high 37 ground balls. She made a career-high 18 saves against Northwestern.
SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIRE
New Hampshire enters Saturday's contest with a 0-1 record. The Wildcats fell to Army West Point, 19-8, in their season opener this past weekend.
Mackenzie MacEachern leads UNH in goals (3), ground balls (4), and draw controls (5). Liv Dunn has two goals for the Wildcats while Allie Connerty has one goal and two assists.
Maria Hagan started in goal for UNH in the season opener, making nine saves in the game.
ALL-TIME AGAINST THE WILDCATS
The Big Green boast a 28-17 all-time record against the Wildcats. Dartmouth has won the last nine meetings against UNH, including an 11-3 win in the 2022 season opener in Durham. Elders scored a hat-trick while
Lucy Murray, Christensen, and Desmond each scored twice.
The Big Green have won every home matchup in the series since the 1991 season.
