Palocsik Earns New England Hockey Writers Association Honor

Tanner Palocsik was named a 2022-23 New England Division I All-Star

HANOVER, N.H. – Senior defenseman Tanner Palocsik was named a 2022-23 New England Division I All-Star, as announced by the New England Hockey Writers Association on Friday.

This is the third accolade Palocsik has earned since the conclusion of his Big Green career after being named to the ECAC Hockey Third Team All-League and All-Ivy Second Team.

Palocsik ended the season with a team-high 22 points after finishing with four goals and 18 assists. He had two assists in the Big Green's first win of the season, a 6-0 victory over Yale at Thompson Arena in early November. Late in the season, Palocsik posted a stretch of seven games in which he had at least one point, while finishing with at least two in three of them. He had a hand in each goal against Princeton on February 3 as he assisted on all three goals.
