HANOVER, N.H. – Senior Andre Quintiliani, fifth-year Cooper Tuckerman and senior Chris Stich of the Dartmouth men's lightweight rowing team were recognized by the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association (IRCA) on Tuesday afternoon as they were named Empacher-IRCA All-Americans.

Quintiliani and Tuckerman were both named to the second team while Stich was named honorable mention.

In order to be named an All-American, rowers and coxswains must have met the following criteria:

The student-athlete must meet all eligibility rules defined by their institution.
The student-athlete must have raced in their team's varsity boat for the current spring season.
The student-athlete must be nominated by their institution.
The head coach of the student-athlete's institution must be in good standing with the IRCA.

The trio were instrumental for the Big Green this season. They helped Dartmouth win the petite final at Eastern Sprints to qualify the entire team for the IRA National Regatta for the first time since 2014. At nationals, the first varsity eight boat defeated MIT in the petite final, helping the Big Green finish seventh overall.

Additionally, 15 student-athletes for the Big Green men's lightweight rowing team were named Empacher-IRCA Scholar Athletes. In order to be named a scholar athlete, rowers and coxswains must have met the following criteria:

Athletes from all IRCA member schools are eligible.
Athletes must be in their second year or more of eligibility.
Athletes must have competed in their program's top three boats during the current season or raced at the 2023 IRA Championship.
Athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA through the fall semester.
