HANOVER, N.H. — USA Rugby has announced its U20 squad that will compete against Wales and Canada in early July as part of the Pacific Four Series, and Dartmouth's
Jordan Duncan,
Sadie Schier,
Katelyn Walker and
Asialeata Meni each landed a spot on the roster.
With both matches taking place in Ottawa, Ontario, the USA U23 team will battle Wales on July 4 before squaring off with Canada on July 8.
Duncan, one of only two freshmen to appear on the 2022 All-NIRA First XV, set the tone for a productive debut season with a try in Dartmouth's season opener. Defensive contributions, particularly a 17-tackle effort in a comeback road win over Harvard, also marked a strong freshman campaign for Duncan.
Meni, another All-NIRA First XV member, tallied four tries as a sophomore in 2022, including two in a 79-0 rout at Mount St. Mary's. She later scored in a season-finale victory over Brown, which sealed a third straight Ivy Championship for the Big Green.
Schier recently competed for the USA U23 team in Brazil as the squad defeated and tied the senior national teams of Colombia and Brazil, respectively. She was named Dartmouth's Back of the Year and scored two tries as a sophomore, including one in the NIRA Semifinal.
Walker scored three tries in a strong freshman campaign, with the most memorable tally representing the game-tying points in a 31-29 road victory over Harvard.
Dartmouth landed more players on the USA U20 roster than any other NIRA program. Harvard, Army West Point and Brown followed with two apiece.
