Taylor Schram today announced the Big Green's schedule for the 2023 season. The 15-game schedule includes eight games at Burnham Field.
Dartmouth will host two exhibition matches before the regular season gets underway. The Big Green welcome Saint Rose and the University of Ottawa to Burnham Field on Aug. 18 and 21.
The Big Green open the campaign at home for the seventh straight season, hosting Eastern Michigan on Friday, Aug. 25 in just the second-ever contest between the two teams. The two sides played to a 1-1 draw in 2022 in Michigan. The first trip of the year sees Dartmouth travel down to Connecticut two days later for a Sunday afternoon tilt against Quinnipiac.
Colgate makes the trip to Hanover to close out August on Thursday the 31
st as the Big Green take on the Raiders for the first time since 2011. Dartmouth plays its next two on the road, traveling to Merrimack (Sep. 3) and Boston College (Sept. 7). The Big Green close out the non-conference portion of the schedule with three straight games at home, taking on Central Connecticut State (Sept. 10), Iona (Sept. 13) and UMass Lowell (Sept. 17).
Ivy League play begins on Sept. 23 with a trip to Yale. Dartmouth plays its first home Ancient Eight contest the following weekend with a matchup against Cornell. The Big Green kick off October with a midweek night game in Cambridge against Harvard.
Dartmouth returns to Burnham Field on Oct. 8 for an afternoon contest against Columbia before heading back out on the road for a trip to Pennsylvania to take on the Penn Quakers on Saturday, Oct. 14. The Big Green play their final home match of the regular season during homecoming weekend, playing host to Princeton on Oct. 21. Dartmouth travels to Brown, the defending Ivy champion, on Oct. 28 for the regular season finale.
The 2023 season sees the introduction of the Ivy League women's soccer tournament. The top four teams in the standings will battle during the first weekend of November for the Ivy League's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
