HANOVER, N.H. – Six student-athletes from the Dartmouth men's ice hockey team were named Krampade American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) All-American Scholars for the 2022-23 academic year.
Tyler Campbell,
Mark Gallant and
Tanner Palocsik from the Class of 2023 each received the honor while returners
Ryan Sorkin,
Cam MacDonald and
Mikey Roberts also earned the recognition.
To qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must have attained at least a 3.75 GPA for each term and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders.
Campbell and Gallant earned All-American Scholar status for the third time.
All six players were recently named to the 2022-23 ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team as well. In addition to earning a spot on the ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team, this is Campbell's fifth academic honor in 2022-23 after also being named Academic All-Ivy, an ECAC Hockey Commissioner's List honoree and to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District At-Large Team.
