Foley Named ECAC Defender of the Week

DANBURY, Conn.—ECAC Hockey announced its weekly award winners on Monday morning. Dartmouth defensemen, CJ Foley has been named ECAC Defender of the Week following Dartmouth's 2-0 weekend.
Foley opened the weekend with a two-point game against No. 15 Quinnipiac. He notched his first point of the weekend as he picked up an assist on the eventual game winning goal. Less than a minute later, the Hanover, Mass. native scored an empty net goal to seal the 4-2 win for Dartmouth.
On Saturday, he notched his third point of the weekend as he picked up the primary assist of the first Dartmouth goal.
He finished the weekend with three points, a blocked shot, and a +5 rating. Foley is currently on a three game point streak.
Dartmouth is currently 4-0-0 for the first time since the 1957-58 season, the Big Green are back in action this weekend. Dartmouth hosts Cornell and Colgate on Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16. Both games are slated for 7 p.m. starts.
