Men's Hockey Checks In At No. 17 In Both National Polls

HANOVER, N.H.—The USCHO and USA Hockey/The Rink Live released its weekly national polls on Monday, Dartmouth came in at No. 17 in both polls. It is the first time since the 2019-20 season that Dartmouth has been ranked in the top 20.

The Big Green are currently 4-0-0 and are one of just three teams in the country that have a perfect 1.000 winning percentage.

Dartmouth is coming off a weekend sweep of then No. 15 Quinnipiac and Princeton. The Big Green defeated Quinnipiac 4-2 on Friday night and then downed Princeton 5-1 on Saturday night.

The 4-0-0 start is best start to a season for Dartmouth since the 1957-58 season. The ranked win over Quinnipiac was the first ranked win for the Big Green since Jan. 17, 2020, with a win over No. 7 Clarkson.

Dartmouth welcomes No. 6 Cornell to Thompson Arena on Friday, Nov. 15 before hosting Colgate on Saturday, Nov. 16. Both games can be watched on ESPN+ and are slated for 7 p.m. puck drops. Friday night is Youth Hockey Night at Thompson Arena, youth hockey players wearing a jersey will get free admission. On Saturday, the first 100 fans will receive a free bomber hat.
