Stavroff Named ECAC Rookie of the Week

DANBURY, Conn.—The ECAC announced its weekly awards on Monday morning. Following a pair of goals in his first two collegiate games, Hayden Stavroff has been named ECAC Rookie of the Week.
The Columbus, Ohio native scored his first collegiate goal against Harvard on Friday, the deflection goal turned out to be the game winning goal. On Sunday, against Stonehill he scored his first career power play goal as he scored the second Dartmouth goal.
With the help of the Stavroff, the Big Green are 2-0 for the first time since the 2007-08 season.
Stavroff and the Big Green on back on the ice on Friday, Nov. 8 as they take on Quinnipiac before traveling to Princeton for matchup with the Tigers on Nov. 9.
