Cleaves Earns ECAC Rookie of the Week Honors

DANBURY, Conn.—ECAC Hockey announced its weekly awards on Monday. Dartmouth's Hank Cleaves has been named Bitcoin ECAC Rookie of the Week following the 35th Annual Ledyard Classic.
Cleaves earned All-Tournament Team honors as he had three points for the Big Green. He started his weekend with a highlight reel assist against Alaska-Anchorage. In the championship game, the Riverside, Conn. native tallied a pair of goals against No. 7 Providence.
He scored his first goal of the game at the 4:45 mark of the first period to open the scoring. At the 12:51 mark of the opening frame he scored his second goal of the game.
Cleaves is currently on a three-game point streak with three goals and one assist over the three games.
Cleaves is the second Dartmouth player to be named ECAC Rookie of the Week this season, Hayden Stavroff earned the honor on Nov. 4.
No. 17 Dartmouth plays its first game of 2025 on Sunday, Jan. 4 at Merrimack. Faceoff is scheduled for 2 PM against the Warriors.
