COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Women's hockey Head Coach
Liz Keady Norton will be returning to Team USA next year as the Head Coach of the 2025 U.S. Under-18 Women's National team, per USA Hockey's announcement Friday morning. Next year's IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championship tournament will take place in Vantaa, Finland between January 5 and 12, 2025.
Keady Norton will serve as the head coach for the second straight year, alongside assistant coaches Courtney Kennedy and Amber Fryklund, goaltending coach Mackenzie Bruch, and intern coach Shelly Picard.
In the 2024 tournament, Keady Norton's squad went undefeated in the tournament en route to a gold medal, Team USA's ninth gold medal in history and 16
th straight medal. The team collected dominant victories over Slovakia, Switzerland, Sweden and Germany prior to defeating Finland in the semifinals and Czechia, 5-1, for the gold medal.
Keady Norton served as an assistant coach alongside Northeastern's Lindsay Berman in her first coaching appearance with Team USA in 2023. Led by Holy Cross Head Coach Katie Lachapelle, who was serving as head coach of Team USA for the second straight year, Keady Norton won bronze with the U18 team.
The Big Green just closed their third season led by Keady Norton, including their first playoff appearance since 2015. Dartmouth faced the Princeton Tigers, Keady Norton's alma mater, falling 5-1 to the Tigers.
