HANOVER, N.H. – Sophomore goaltender
Cooper Black of the Dartmouth men's hockey team has been named to the All-ECAC Hockey Second Team, the league office announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Black started all but one conference game in 2023-24 for the Big Green. He finished with a 9-5-6 record, making 537 saves and boasted a .910 saves percentage. Black eclipsed the 30-save mark on four occasions, including a season-high 39 saves at Quinnipiac. The sophomore had one shutout in league play, coming in a 28-save performance in the Big Green's 3-0 victory over Clarkson on Feb. 16.

This is Black's second ECAC Hockey postseason after being named to the All-Rookie Team in 2022-23.

Black and the Big Green take on the Union Garnet Chargers this weekend in the ECAC Hockey quarterfinals. Games one and two are scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday with an if-needed game three on Sunday at 4 p.m. The entire quarterfinal series will be available to stream on ESPN+ and Stretch Internet.
