The Big Green scored on their first six shot attempts of the afternoon
Fifth-year faceoff specialist Mitchell Myers scored off the opening faceoff of the second quarter to give the Big Green a 7-1 lead, then after a Catamounts' goal, Rogan netted his third of the game for an 8-2 advantage. It was all Catamounts through the early stages of the second half, with UVM scoring six of the first seven goals, including four straight to turn a 10-6 Dartmouth lead into a 10-10 deadlock with 10:59 remaining in the fourth quarter.We are underway in the third quarter with the Big Green leading, 9-4. This is how the first-half scoring ended with Henry Bonnie giving Dartmouth a five-goal advantage at the break.

Vermont finished with a 40-30 edge in shots while the Catamounts held a 32-23 edge in groundballs. Dartmouth was 2-for-3 on the extra man compared to UVM's 0-for-1. Morel finished with 11 saves in goal. Myers won 13-of-22 faceoffs against UVM's Henry Dodge, who entered the day having won 57.4 percent on the season.UVM came all the way back to tie the score at 10, but Colin McGill answered on the extra man to give the Big Green the lead once again.
