HANOVER, N.H. – The New England Hockey Writers Association announced their annual awards Wednesday, including the naming of goaltender
Cooper Black and forward
Luke Haymes as 2023-24 New England Division I Men's All-Stars.

Both Black and Haymes will be honored at the annual awards reception on April 23 in Saugus, Massachusetts.

Haymes led all the Big Green with goals (18) and assists (18) for 36 points on the season. He put the most shots on net, was tied for most power play goals on the team with six and scored four game winning goals for the Big Green.

The sophomore defenseman was also named to both the ECAC Hockey first team and the Ivy League first team, in which he was a unanimous selection.

Black shined in net for the Big Green this past season, posting a personal 13-8-8 record between the pipes en route to the team's 13-10-9 overall record and their first opening round bye of the ECAC Hockey playoffs since 2010-11.

In 29 games, Black posted a 2.52 goals against average and a .911 save percentage. Following the season, Black was named to the All-ECAC second team and signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Florida Panthers.
