PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- Marco Dumsky and Drew Koenen had everything working on the mound for the Big Green Friday, fanning ten Pennsylvania hitters to help propel Dartmouth past the Quakers 12-3.

While Dumsky and Koenen shined on the mound, the Big Green offense also came to life, putting up twelve runs including a home run from Zackarie Casebonne that put them up 1-0 in the second inning.
Penn responded in their half of the second inning with a home run of their own, this one a two-run shot to take the lead over the Big Green. Dartmouth wasted no time though, putting up five runs in the third inning to take a 6-2 lead. Elliot Krewson started the scoring in the third with an RBI single before the Big Green loaded the bases and scored again when Nathan Cmeyla drew a walk. Cmeyla's free base was followed by a two RBI single off the bat of Max Zajec and a one run single from Jackson Hower.
Both the Big Green and Quakers traded a run in the fifth inning. Dartmouth collected another RBI single from Zajec while the Quakers led off the fifth inning with a home run, making the score 7-3 through five innings.
Dartmouth added five runs in one frame again in the sixth inning, once again loading the bases. The Big Green put two runners on thanks to a walk and single before Cmeyla collected another RBI with a double. Kolton Freeman who reached on a single then scored on a wild pitch before before a walk and a hit batter loaded the bases again for the BIg Green. Another Hower single and two walks scored three runs, putting the Big Green up 12-3.
Penn loaded the bases in both the sixth and seventh innings, but Koenen did not allow a run in his four innings of work, securing the win for the Big Green.
