HANOVER, N.H. – On Thursday night, the men's hockey team gathered for their annual end of season banquet and passed out multiple team awards. In addition to the six awards that were given out, the team's three seniors were also honored.
The first award given out was the Booma Award, honoring the team's Rookie of the Year. The award, given in honor of Ronald C. Booma '30, a three-sport athlete as a member of the Big Green, was given to Ivy League and ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year
CJ Foley. Foley scored five goals and assisted 15 more during his first season. He finished third on the team with total points as well as third on the team with assists.
Sophomore
Cam MacDonald was given the John Manser Award for most improved player. In 31 games, MacDonald scored four goals and nine assists for 13 total points, including two power play goals and one game winning goal. MacDonald's 13 points this past season is five more than he had last year. He was also a +4 this season, 26 points higher than his first year.
The Smoyer Award given to the team's Unsung Hero was awarded to
Josh Waters. The award is given annually to the varsity player that has made the most unusual contributions to the program, beyond statistics. The senior played in every game but five for the Big Green.
Junior
Sean Chisholm was presented the McInnis Award for Sportsman of the Year for best reflecting spirit, camaraderie, loyalty, and dedication to the program and college. In 28 games, Chisholm put up 17 points for fourth best on the team, netting eight goals and assisting on nine.
The Phelan Award for Team MVP was awarded to junior
Luke Haymes, a unanimous All-ECAC Hockey first team selection. Haymes led the team in goals (18), assists (18), points (36), and game winning goals (4), having played in every game but one. He was also tied for the team high with six power play goals.
Haymes' offensive output also earned him the Friends of Dartmouth Men's Hockey Leading Scorer recognition.
The team's three seniors,

Ryan Sorkin, and Waters were also honored at the banquet, being given their Dartmouth jersey.
