HANOVER, N.H. – Stacy and Nick Branca Family Head Coach of Women's Soccer,
Taylor Schram, announced the Big Green's schedule for the 2024 season. The 17-game schedule includes 10 games at Burnham Field.
"We are really excited about how the non-conference schedule came together for this season," said Schram. "We are thrilled to be competing against quality opponents in Pitt (previous Elite 8 team from 2023 season) Boston College, Hofstra, and many more. This schedule will help prepare us for another season of top-ranked Ivy League opponents."
Dartmouth will host an exhibition game against U Ottawa on Aug. 18 before the regular season gets underway (free admission).
The Big Green open their home stand against Marshall on Aug. 23 in the first-ever contest between the two teams. Two days later Merrimack will play the Big Green on Aug. 25. Boston College travels to Hanover for a game under the lights on Aug. 29 and on Sept. 1 Dartmouth will play Stonehill for an afternoon tilt to close out the home series.
Dartmouth will embark on a three-game road series starting with a trip to Pennsylvania. The Big Green will take on Pitt for a mid-week game for the second-all-time meeting between the two teams. Last time, Dartmouth won 2-1 in 2019 against the Panthers. The Big Green will close out the road series traveling to Robert Morris (Sept. 8) and Colgate (Sept. 12).
Dartmouth will host Hofstra on Sept. 15 and then travel to Massachusetts to play UMass Lowell on Sept. 21 before starting league play.
Ivy League play begins on Sept. 28 at home against Yale. The Big Green kick off October with a trip to Cornell on Oct. 5 for the first Ivy Road game of the year. Shortly after, Dartmouth returns to Burnham Field with a mid-week game against Harvard (Oct. 9).
The Big Green head to New York to face Columbia on Oct. 13 and come back to Hanover to face Penn on Oct. 19. For the last regular season road game of the year, Dartmouth will play at Princeton on Oct. 26. Rounding out the last game of the regular season, the Big Green will host Brown on Nov. 2.
