HANOVER, N.H. — Linda Cimino, Dartmouth's Gail Koziara Boudreaux '82 and Family Head Coach of Women's Basketball, has announced the hiring of Ahlea Myers as the director of basketball operations. Myers joins Cimino, along with associate head coach
Robert Isme and assistants,
Anh-Dao Tran and
Alyssa Fisher, to lead the Big Green in the 2024-25 season.
"I'm excited to complete our staff with the hiring of Ahlea Myers," Cimino said. "I first met Ahlea when I coached her sister at St. Francis Brooklyn. I was always impressed by her passion and willingness to learn and grow in the game. I think this position is a great opportunity for her to work alongside a dynamic staff, in a great league, where she will be an asset and valuable resource to our student-athletes."
Myers joins the Big Green after recently being named a volunteer assistant coach at Francis Marion University where she was instrumental with their summer camps and day-to-day basketball operations.
Myers spent the previous two seasons at Chicago State. Most recently, she was a graduate assistant on the Cougars staff. Prior to being named a graduate assistant, she was a graduate transfer competing for the Cougars in her final year of eligibility. She led the team in 3-point field goals made and free-throw percentage, while averaging 7.7 points per game.
Prior to Chicago State, Myers competed at Coker University in Hartsville, South Carolina. As a junior, she led her team in points with 12.1 points and 3.4 assists per game. As a senior, she averaged 7.6 points per game and was named to the South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Myers attended Hammond High School where she played basketball, softball and track and field for the Skyhawks. As a senior, her team won the South Carolina state championship, and she was named the 3A state player of the year.
A Columbia, South Carolina native, Myers earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Coker University and is currently pursuing her master's in biology from Chicago State.
