Foley Earns ECAC Defender of the Week

DANBURY, Conn.—The ECAC announced its weekly awards on Monday. Dartmouth defensemen CJ Foley has been named the Adapt Nutrition Defender of the Week.

Foley had a pair of points this weekend for the Big Green. On Friday night in a 7-2 win over Vermont, the defensemen had an assist on the seventh Dartmouth goal. On Saturday against Merrimack he scored the lone goal of the game at the 9:06 mark of the first period. He ended the weekend with a +4 rating and five shots on goal.

This season, Foley has two goals and five assists through eight games. He has tallied points in six of eight games this season. In his three year career, he has skated in 73 career games while scoring 18 goals and adding 39 assists. He is currently second among ECAC defensemen in point per game at 0.88 this season.

The Big Green are 8-0-0 for the first time since the 1942-42 season, Dartmouth is back in action on Friday, Dec. 5 at Thompson Arena as Brown travels to Hanover. On Saturday Dec. 6, the Big Green host Yale at 7 PM, tickets for both games can be purchased here.
