Croteau Named HCA National Goalie of the Month

GLOUCESTER, Mass—The Hockey Coaches Association (HCA) announced its monthly awards on Thursday for the month of November. Dartmouth netminder Emmett Croteau has been named HCA Goalie of the Month.

The junior has started his second season in Hanover nearly perfect. The Bonnyville, Alta. native has a 4-0-0 record with a shutout. He leads the country in both goals against average at 0.75 and save percentage at .970. In all four games this season he has made 20 or more saves including a season high 27 saves against Clarkson on Nov. 15. Against Merrimack on Saturday, he made 24 saves as he notched his second career shutout. Through 28 career games, he as a 2.17 goals against average and a .902 save percentage. He was recently named ECAC Goalie of the Month.

The Big Green are back in action this weekend for a pair of ECAC and Ivy games against Brown and Yale. The Big Green and Bears square off on Friday, Dec. 5 at 7 PM while Dartmouth and the Bulldogs play Saturday, Dec. 6 at 7 PM. To see the No. 10 Dartmouth men's hockey team in action, click here.
