MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – After wrapping day one of the Middlebury Carnival in second place, the Big Green jumped above the hosts, earning four podiums to win the carnival, their fifth overall win of the season.

Men's Nordic was once again led by
John Steel Hagenbuch who won the 10K with a time of 24:11.3.
Luke Allan was 40 seconds behind, finishing just off the podium in fourth with a 24:51.1.
Cooper Camp rounded out the Big Green finishers in the top 10, coming in eighth with a 25:22.3.

Asa Chalmers (25:33.2) and
Aidan Jacobus (25:45.3) were the next two Big Green skiers to finish, coming in 13
th and 16
th respectively.

Aaron Power (27.03.4),
Wally Magill (27:39.5), and
Aiden Casey (29:20.4) also finished for the Big Green.

The Big Green earned two podiums in the women's 10K, thanks to
Ava Thurston and
Nina Seemann. Thurston picked up her fourth first place overall finish, posting a 28:26.0 to earn the win. Seemann earned her first podium of the season, finishing in 28:51.8 for second place.

Tatum Witter (29:22.5),
Emma Reeder (29:26.4) and
Amelia Tucker (29:35.1) finished back-to-back-to-back, collecting sixth, seventh, and eighth place.

Evie Walton (30:37.4),
Virginia Cobb (32:29.2),
Grace Zanni (34:12.3), and
Hannah Chipman (34:40.0) also finished for the Big Green.

On the giant slalom, men's alpine was led by
Benny Brown who earned his fourth podium of the year. Brown's 1:59.40 placed him third overall at the Middlebury Carnival.

Oscar Zimmer was just behind, posting a 1:59.55 for fourth overall.
Heming Sola finished in 1:00.38 for eighth place and Dan Gilis posted a 2:00.42 for tenth place.

Louis Latulippe (2:00.90),
Oliver Morgan (2:01.35), and Philip Lindquist (2:02.75) also finished for the Big Green.

Carly Elsinger was the top Big Green finisher in the women's giant slalom, posting a 2:03.43 to finish just off the podium in fourth place.

Riley Grosdider and
Emma Resnick finished back-to-back, posting a 2:04.97 and a 2:05.07 for 15
th and 16
th.
Zoe Zimmermann rounded out the top 20 with a 2:05.36, finishing 18
th.

Izzy Washburn (2:06.35),
Sammi Trudeau (2:07.01), and
Emma Reynolds (2:08.37) also finished for the Big Green.

Dartmouth will return to action next weekend, heading to UNH for their final Carnival ahead of the National Championship. UNH will serve as the NCAA Regional as well as the EISA Championship.
