Foley Named Semifinalist For Walter Brown Award

HANOVER, N.H.—Dartmouth defensemen CJ Foley has been named a semifinalist of the 73rd Walter Brown Award. The Walter Brown Award is the nation's oldest nationally recognized college hockey honor and it's awarded to the best American-born Division I college hockey player in New England.
The Hanover, Mass native is one of the top defensemen in the ECAC as he currently leads all ECAC defensemen in points with 22 points in 22 games. His 1.00 point per game is tied for the conference lead as well. The reigning ECAC Rookie of the Year has a league best +17 rating this season and was recently named ECAC Ironhead Defender of the Month for his eight-point month of January.
He is one of just 26 semifinalist and one of five from the ECAC. The winner of the award will be announced by The Gridiron Club in the final week of March.
The Big Green are back in action on Friday as Harvard travels to Hanover with puck drop slated for 7 PM at Thompson Arena.
