Nikora Named ECAC Hockey Forward of the Week

DANBURY, Conn.—The ECAC announced its weekly awards on Monday morning. Dartmouth forward Nikita Nikora has been named Bluebird Hotels Forward of the Week by the league.
Nikora tallied four points in the quarterfinal series against Union this weekend. He scored the first goal for Dartmouth on Friday night to tie the game at one. He added an assist on Friday night in the 3-2 win over the Garnet Chargers. On Saturday, the sophomore added a pair of assists to complete the sweep of Union.
This season the Saint Petersburg, Russia native has scored four goals while adding 26 assists. He is currently riding a three game win streak. In 57 career games, he has seven goals and 43 assists.
The Big Green's ECAC tournament run continues on Friday, Mar. 21 against Clarkson at 7 PM at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid, N.Y. in the ECAC Semifinals.
