Four Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes Earn Ivy League Honors

HANOVER, N.H. - The Ivy League announced its list of All-Ivy awards on Tuesday, naming four Dartmouth women's lacrosse players.Â
For the first time in her career, junior Maya Kendall was given First Team All-Ivy honors. Kendall had a historic season, breaking program and league records for single-season draw controls with 188 and single-game draw controls with 22. She trails behind Kathryn Giroux in all-time draw controls, currently sitting at 293.Â
Seniors Katina Christensen, Gisele Todd, and Maja Desmond were given All-Ivy Honorable Mentions. Christensen, who boasted a career and team high of 34 goals this season, was also named to the Academic All-Ivy team.
Todd has been given All-Ivy recognition for four consecutive seasons. The former Ivy League Goalkeeper of the Year surpassed 500 career saves this season, putting her at fourth all-time in saves.Â
Similarly, Desmond has also earned Ivy League honors every year of her Dartmouth career. This season, she had a career high of 19 goals, eight assists, and 27 points.
