HANOVER, N.H. - Following an incredible start to her collegiate career,
Maeve Theobald was named an Ivy League co-offensive player of the week on Monday afternoon.Â
In her Dartmouth debut on Friday, Theobald scored two goals and had an assist to help the Big Green open their season with a 7-0 victory over Merrimack. Additionally, Theobald scored a goal in the 65th minute of Sunday's matchup against CCSU, allowing the Big Green to take their first road win 2-0.Â
The first-year forward, hailing from Milton, Mass., currently leads the Ivy League in goals with three through her first two games in green. She is also the team leader in points (7) and shots on goal (5).Â
The Big Green will return to Burnham Field next Thursday, Aug. 28, to host UMass at 7 p.m. Free Dartmouth soccer scarves will be given to the first 100 fans in attendance.Â
