Kendall Named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J.—The Ivy League announced its weekly awards on Monday for women's lacrosse. Maya Kendall has been named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week after a pair of outstanding performances.
On Wednesday against New Hampshire, she broke her own Ivy League record with 24 draw controls, he also tied the NCAA record. Her previous record was 22 against New Hampshire in 2025. Against Wagner on Saturday, the Denver, Colo. native recorded 17 draw controls to tally 41 on the week.
The senior currently has 354 career draw controls and is chasing the Dartmouth and Ivy League record of 418.
Dartmouth has started the season 3-0 with wins of 19-6 over Bryant, 22-3 against New Hampshire, and 23-2 versus Wagner. The Big Green open Ivy League play on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 1 PM against Harvard in Cambridge.
