Bio
Junior (2016): As a junior, he played in all 14 games and made 11 starts … scored one goal and added on a pair of assists for three points … lone goal of the season was scored against Vermont … had an assist in back-to-back games against Wagner and Michigan … was second on the team with 37 ground balls … went 89-for-210 at the faceoff X (.424) … caused three turnovers.
Sophomore (2015): Appeared in all but one of 13 games throughout his sophomore year … scored five goals and tallied two assists for seven points … picked up 10 ground balls … at the first game of the season against Ohio State, he led the team with two goals and an assist … at the next game against Notre Dame, he scored another two goals.
Freshman (2014): Throughout his first season at Dartmouth, Stephan appeared in 10 games … he tallied five goals and one assist for six points … scored his first collegiate goal in the first game of the season against North Carolina … went on to score one goal against Vermont and two in the victory over Sacred Heart.
Before Dartmouth: Stephan was a four-year member of both the lacrosse and soccer teams at Rutgers Prep … senior captain … part of Non-Public B Champs in 2012-13, as well as two Prep B State Championship squads … All-American, first team All-State, Somerset County Scholar Athlete and Home News Tribune Player of the Year.
